Measurement
Make Pixel and CAPI events trustworthy enough to optimise against.
Browser Pixel, server-side CAPI, event names, validation and deduplication are implemented so Meta has a usable signal. Attribution will still be incomplete, and we will say so.

What this can and cannot do
Better events improve learning. They do not restore a lost attribution era.
iOS limits, browser restrictions and multi-touch journeys mean Meta will never see every conversion. Pixel plus CAPI still matters: it gives the algorithm a cleaner, more redundant signal and gives you events marketing and finance can name the same way. Pixoflix implements, validates and documents that path. We will not tell you CAPI fixed attribution.

Typical constraints
The account is optimising against noise.
- 01The Pixel fires on the wrong pages, or not at all after a theme or GTM change.
- 02Purchase or lead events duplicate because browser and server both send without an event ID.
- 03Event names do not match anything sales or finance would recognise.
- 04CAPI was 'installed' by a plugin and has never been validated in Events Manager.
- 05Media, analytics and the CRM each report a different conversion count and nobody owns the gap.
How the work is sequenced
Inventory first. Then implement. Then prove it in Events Manager.
We do not drop a second Pixel on a site that already has three. Existing GTM, plugins and server hooks are read before anything is added.
01
Inventory the current signal
Pixels, tags, plugins, GTM containers and CAPI endpoints are listed, including the ones nobody remembers installing.
02
Map events to business outcomes
Each conversion gets a name, a trigger and an owner. Vanity events are dropped.
03
Implement Pixel and CAPI together
Browser and server paths are built to share event IDs so Meta can deduplicate rather than double-count.
04
Validate in test and in production
Test events, real form submits and real purchases are watched in Events Manager until the payload matches the brief.
05
Document the known gaps
Blocked browsers, offline sales, call conversions and delayed CRM stages are written down so reporting stays honest.
06
Recheck after site or tag changes
A short revalidation follows theme, checkout or GTM edits, because this work decays when nobody owns it.
What you receive
A documented event path Meta can use, with the gaps written down.
The work is implementation and proof, not a promise that every sale will appear in Ads Manager.
01
Event inventory and naming
PageView, ViewContent, Lead, Purchase and custom events are mapped to the outcomes the business already discusses.
02
Pixel implementation
Browser events are placed through GTM or the stack you already have, with parameters the catalogue or form actually needs.
03
Conversions API setup
Server-side events backup the browser path for the conversions that matter, using a method your stack can maintain.
04
Deduplication and validation
Event IDs, test events and Events Manager diagnostics are used so the same conversion is not counted twice.
05
Handoff notes for marketing and finance
What each event means, where it fires, and which conversions Meta will still miss. The limits stay visible.
When this is useful
Pixel and CAPI work is useful when media is flying blind.
- A new site, theme or checkout launched and Meta events stopped matching orders or leads.
- You are about to scale spend and the event quality score is already a warning.
- Lead generation needs a qualified event, not only a thank-you page view.
- An audit found missing, duplicated or unnamed events as the first constraint.
- Google tags exist in GTM and Meta was bolted on without a shared plan.
What good looks like
Useful measurement is agreed, redundant and still incomplete.
Events people can name
Marketing, media and finance use the same words for lead, purchase and the steps in between.
A backup when the browser fails
CAPI carries the conversions that matter when cookies or script blockers drop the Pixel.
Fewer silent duplicates
Shared event IDs keep browser and server from teaching Meta the same conversion twice.

We will not publish invented attribution lift. When a setup can be described, it will be described with the remaining gaps attached. The Work index is the public starting point.

Questions
Buying questions, answered directly.
In most commercial accounts, yes. The Pixel covers browser events. CAPI covers many of the same conversions when the browser cannot. Together they improve signal quality. They still miss journeys Meta cannot see.
Next move
If events cannot be trusted, do not scale the account.
Share Events Manager diagnostics, GTM access and the conversions you actually care about. We will say what is missing, what is duplicated and what CAPI cannot fix.
