Ville

Pre-launch awareness for a verified parenting community

Build

Overview

Project overview

Ville needed parents waiting before the app existed. Pixoflix ran a one-month GTM, content and SEO engagement that produced more than 10,000 reach from a standing start. The work paused after month one for budget reasons, not for lack of results. Ville has since continued toward launch independently.

Objectives

  • Define positioning and the first audience for a pre-launch community product.
  • Publish a consistent content presence before the app opened.
  • Start SEO early rather than waiting until after launch.
  • Build top-of-funnel reach among the parents Ville would later need as first members.

Challenge

The constraint

Ville faced the cold-start problem of any community-first product: nobody joins an empty room. There was no live product and no existing audience. The work was awareness and positioning, not feature-building. Ville had to define who to reach first, tell a differentiated story (verified, private, situation-matched circles) in a category full of generic advice apps and WhatsApp groups, and create content and search presence with no brand recognition to lean on.

Context

Constraints around the work

Ville (villeapp.ai), by Navio Innovations Pvt Ltd, is an Indian parenting app that matches caregivers into verified, private parent circles based on their actual situation. A community product is only as good as the people already in it. Pixoflix was brought on as GTM consultant to build pre-launch awareness and put the brand in front of the right parents before day one.

Approach

How the work was sequenced

  1. 01

    Positioning

GTM strategy anchored on Ville's actual difference: verified matching by child stage, caregiving role, family structure and specific challenges, rather than generic advice feeds.

  2. 02

    Content and search from zero

A calendar and published content gave the brand a voice ahead of launch, with SEO setup running in parallel so the domain was not starting from nothing on day one.

Decisions

Key decisions

  • Optimise for waitlist awareness, not product conversion

There was no live app to convert into. The useful job was putting a new, specific idea in front of the parents who would later join the first circles.

Solution

What we put in place

The engagement delivered a go-to-market strategy document (positioning and early audience), a content calendar with published pieces that laid groundwork for what later became Ville's Baithak blog and parenting resources, and SEO setup so organic foundations existed before launch. The focus stayed top-of-funnel: awareness and reach among future members, not conversions on a product that was not live.

Deliverables

What shipped

  • Go-to-market strategy document
  • Content calendar and published pre-launch pieces
  • SEO setup and early search strategy

Outcome

What changed

In a single month of active work the engagement generated more than 10,000 reach for a pre-launch brand starting from zero. The engagement was paused after month one because of the client's budget, not because the work failed. Ville has since continued building toward launch independently, with its waitlist, blog and community resources now live at villeapp.ai.

Verified metrics

Measured change

  • 10,000+

    Pre-launch reach

Reach generated in one month of GTM, content and SEO work for a brand with no prior audience.

One-month engagement; paused afterward for budget, not performance.

Search visibility for a new Goa stay site in 90 days

Etereo Stays launched a rebuilt site with no search history and a hard deadline: be findable before Goa's October travel season. The first 90 days took organic clicks from 35 to 103 a month, a 194% rise, while click-through more than doubled.

Next move

If the product is not live yet, the first job is still an audience.

Pixoflix can sequence positioning, content and search so a launch is not an empty room.
